Letterpress Thank You Cards Letterpress Printing - Online Resources And Recommendations?

Letterpress printing - online resources and recommendations? - letterpress thank you cards

Does anyone know of online retailers or good resources for custom printing? I have a JPEG or EPS of a logo that I already be in typography and then printed. I know the paper source is present, but their prices are quite high. Has anyone suggestions for other online sellers for good (or providers in the Bay of San Francisco)?

And this is invited to a wedding and many different elements that go with it (the menu-card, cards, notes of appreciation, the program of the weekend, etc..)

The recommendations that you are on the printing press, also welcome.

I know not what ye ask.

The font "impression that I am familiar with the printing press, stamping and punching in a roll.

Image files you mention are electronic image files and will probably work for any kind of pressure. (Book, offset printing, screen printing, office printer, etc..)

A picture may be "camera ready" for multiple use, but not printed. It is graphic design.

The print itself is the application of the ink on metal plates) to this special stamp ink on paper (or other surface. For a personal, you can try to go to a local printer. An old man, it would be better because they express a roller, and can show how it works. In general, love to share them, what they know about his business with you.

There are few places that do not do hot, letterpress printing as, in fact, there are new customers a month, typography has impressed the new thing "for invitations marriage (as seen on Martha Stewart and all the bridal suite journals.)

Keep as an answer to your specific question in mind that the police are better (ie work, "these days is really only viable solution") in art monochromne direct line, if the JPEG version of your logo is not very helpful No. But if the EPS is available in black and white, which should make for good typography are delivered.

A good list of letterpress printer is active, of which support most of their work is online) in the journal HOW (see first link below. Crane design, persons high final document, just released a new document specifically for the composition, letters, and update your list of printers again typography (published in the second link below).

But the best thing is you really wantprint it yourself! Depending on what you are trying to do and what is your time horizon, typography as a hobby can give results very professional, very funny and very rewarding too. The complete guide to starting your own work, is the introduction of print typography typography (see third link below.)

Good luck and have letterpressing!
